Mike Doughty, former front man for the band Soul Coughing, needed help launching his acclaimed solo career. Already a pioneer in promoting himself online, Mike needed a site to match his music: witty, comical, and spontaneous. Dayjob delivered with a site that gave Mike a microphone to the world. A blog, calendar and news page all easily editable from a content management system we developed especially for bands callled Playola.
Artwork and illustration was made to fit the personality and persona of Mike, and the photography and design for this project extended to the CD packaging for the Reissued Albums, Skittish & Rockity Roll, available after Mike’s Major Record Deal with ATO Records (one of the founders being some guy, Dave Matthews?)
