With the Underground Music Showcase going into it’s ninth year, Dayjob once again played a leading role. This year, the festival was even bigger and better with over 200 bands, 20 venues, and four days of music. So of course that required more time and effort. We proudly poured our blood, sweat and tears into every aspect of the festival.
Like last year, we created a website for musicians, music lovers, and even voluteers and staff to keep updated on UMS news. The site got the buzz and excitement going for everything and lead up to a blowout event!
Additionally, Dayjob continued the role of Art Director and created everything from the festival identity to buttons that attendees and volunteers could wear. This year we also had the privilege of working with a local artist, Gary Lee Bomar, who provided very beautiful line art, perfect for the identity of the festival. Some other items we designed included all advertising material, signage, posters, event and volunteer T-Shirts, and the festival guide cover art.
Of course, we couldn’t leave Gigbot out this year either. Helping sponsor the event, Gigbot brought back in full action its photobooth capturing the great faces and priceless moments of the festival. Check it out!
